Becoming an Outdoors-Woman (BOW) is a program designed for women. It is an opportunity for women of all ages to learn outdoor skills that will benefit them in all manners of outdoor pursuits.

ALS Shoot for the Cure Sporting Clays Event – BC

Vancouver Gun Club 7340 Sidaway Rd, Richmond

With the support of the Vancouver Firefighter Charities, Vancouver Firefighter, Todd Johnstone, organizes the “Shoot For a Cure” every spring with approximately 300 firefighters attending. It is a sport clay shooting event with 100% of the proceeds being donated to the ALS Society of BC. The event has raised over $217,000 since 2003 with the hope that a cure for ALS will one day be found.
